Does not start

Try this first to clear the recent documents.

• Right click on the Start button and choose:  Run

• Paste in this text and click OK : %AppData%\ReadirisPDF23

• Delete the Workspace folder

• Try to start the program.

If that does not help then use one of these two methods to uninstall, clean and reinstall the software.

Note that you will need to reset the Activation Code

Manually clean installation

1. Uninstall the software. 

2. Then use these steps to clean up the remnants.

• Right click on the Start button and choose Run down near the bottom

• Type or paste in this text : %ProgramData%

• Delete the ReadirisPDF23 folder.

• Return to the Run item and paste in this text : %AppData%

• Delete the ReadirisPDF23 folder there as well.

Automatically clean install with batch file.

Uninstall the software in Settings and then use these steps to clean the Readiris PDF 23  installation.

• Then download this tiny zip file in this link and save it on your computer.

• Unzip it and then right click on the ReadirisPDF23-Delete.bat  file and choose Run as administrator.

• This will save a bunch of time & effort deleting these obscure folders

  →  C:\ProgramData\ReadirisPDF23

  →  %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\ReadirisPDF23

• Say yes or OK to the UAC prompt

• It will run and be over in a few seconds.

Then reinstall and activate the software again. Here is the download link if needed for the latest version.
